Genaya was entrusted to be involved in the launch of the onsite bootcamp in Surabaya through a PR campaign. The Hacktiv8 offline campus in Surabaya is the third after Jakarta and Tangerang. Its location is at Gowork Sinarmas Land Plaza.

The Hacktiv8 Surabaya Campus Launch gained coverage in almost 40 online media platforms, with a 100% positive tone, 89% brand mention in headlines, and 100% brand and spokesperson mention in news articles. Through this PR campaign, Genaya also strengthened Hacktiv8's position as Indonesia's leading IT bootcamp in the Surabaya and East Java market. 

The launch of this offline campus is expected to facilitate access to digital skills education and support the acceleration of technology, economic growth, and digital potential in East Java. 

Hacktiv8 President, Juventia Vicky, stated that the offline bootcamp campus was opened to meet the demand for skilled workforce in the field of technology by providing knowledge, skills, and practical experience. 

Bootcamp participants are welcome from all educational backgrounds and there are no prerequisites to apply. However, participants should have basic English skills, a willingness to learn, and high motivation. They are also required to have their own laptop.

Hacktiv8 chose Surabaya because East Java ranks 4th as one of the cities with the best digital competitiveness in Indonesia. This fact emphasizes the high potential for technology development and utilization in East Java and Surabaya. Currently, the bootcamp offered is Full Stack JavaScript. 

However, the curriculum at Hacktiv8 bootcamps will be specially designed to adapt to market needs and updated regularly. Hacktiv8 students will also receive post-graduation assistance to be placed in more than 800 hiring partners. The bootcamp lessons in Surabaya will begin on August 7, 2023, where classes are open to all individuals interested in self-development, regardless of their background.
